Morpheus 8 is an incredible treatment that combines the benefits of microneedling with the lifting and firming power of radio frequency in one treatment
First the needles enter the skin and cause a micro wound that stimulates your body to produce more of its own collagen elastin and hylauronic acid. This improves the skin quality, ironing our fine lines and wrinkles, improving pigmentation and treating scarring
Then when the needles are at their maximum depth (up to 5mm) the radio frequency is released deep into the fat layer of the face. This causes the fat to heat up and become remodelled providing a lifting and firming

What does it treat?
This is where Morpheus comes into its own. The ability to deliver RF energy deep into the skin almost ‘melts’ the fat away and lifts and slims the neck area. This area is notoriously difficult to treat and I would go as far as saying this is the best result you can achieve without having to have surgery
Nasolabial folds (or nose to mouthiness are caused by the combination of a loss of volume in the cheek and a loss of elasticity in the skin overlying this. Morpheus 8 can help tighten up that skin and improve the look of these folds, as well as making your face look fuller and more youthful.
Morpheus Prime is a special treatment just for around the eyes that can help lift the upper eyelid and improve the look of fine lines under the eyes. Again this area is incredibly difficult to treat and Morpheus 8 allows a non-surgical solution to these problems.
Morpheus 8 resurfacing literally resurfaces your face using smaller needles but still a burst of RF energy to improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles over the face. This can be combines with a hyaluronic acid or growth factor treatment to really moisturise and improve skin texture.

I won’t sugar coat it – this is no spa treatment BUT it is incredibly tolerable. We use prescription strength numbing cream to make it as pleasant as possible and the actual treatment time is very short.
Immediately after the treatment you will notice the area is red. This goes down relatively quickly (within 48 hours but often much quicker). You might then be left with a ‘chicken skin’ appearance of the skin as the needle holes become a bit swollen. This is a normal effect of the treatment and can persist for a couple of weeks. There is always a risk of bruising (after all we are putting needles into your face) and this should go down within 2 weeks.
Compared with traditional microneedling the downtime is considerably shorter and most people will be able to go about their normal business 24 hours after treatment.
If you imagine that we’ve made 1000’s of tiny holes in your face and that your skin on your face no longer functions as we should the aftercare becomes easy to understand.
We need to protect the skin from extremes of heat and cold so no saunas, swimming or cryotherapy
We need to protect the skin from infection so no putting anything on your face for 24 hours after treatment and make sure you change your pillows and towels following your appointment.
Watch your hands and make sure they’re clean before you touch your face
Don’t use any active skincare (retinol/acid face washes/vitamin C) until 5 days after your treatment
Morpheus 8 will not give you an instantaneous result as it relies on stimulating your body to product its own collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid which takes time. Best results are seen 8-12 weeks after the treatment and they are gradual. Best results are obtained with a course of treatment.
